How do Arabs view US policy towards their countries?





An opinion poll conducted in 8 Arab countries, and the results of which were published, revealed how Arab citizens view the United States' policy towards the Arab world.
 

The poll showed that 61 percent of Arab citizens viewed negatively the US policy toward the Arab world.

Two research organizations,
 the "Arab Center for Washington DC" (independent)
 and  the "Arab Center for Research ,
published the results of the survey  by 3 thousand and 200 people.


The poll was conducted in Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Palestine, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia between last September 14 and October 13 this year.

He explained that 61 percent of Arab citizens view the United States' policy towards the Arab world negatively.

The poll indicated that 58 percent of respondents had negative views of US President Donald Trump, while 56 percent believed he was anti-Muslim.

Only 17 percent of respondents believed that the Trump presidency contributed to improving US policy toward the Arab world, most of whom were from Saudi Arabia, then Egypt, and then Kuwait.

In a press conference in the American capital, Washington, Temara Kharroub, an official at the Arab Center for Washington, DC, explained that almost half of the Arab respondents (48 percent) have a negative impression about Washington's policy towards the region despite their positive view of the United States.

She noted that only 25 percent of the respondents view negatively about the American people.
